I am Laura Kirsten – married to Andre and Mom to three impressive children and their awesome partners. I am Granny to five beautiful adventurous grandchildren.
I am blessed to be part of a loving and diverse family and life has taught me plenty. Had I been born more of an extrovert I would probably be acting in movies or dancing on a stage somewhere. However three years ago I discovered my love of writing and now I get to comment on my life and others around me. With some years of experience on my side, I now understand segments of my journey so far – perhaps one day, hopefully in the not too distant future, I will understand some more and then perhaps in time, it won’t even matter anymore.
I have made choices over the years. Some of them have taken a great deal of courage to follow through and others blessed me along the way. I am always grateful that by grace I am still standing.
I have mostly made peace with who I am, and I look forward to my future.
